Our Role as Monitor:
The monitor's role is to initially instruct all parties as to the rules of supervision consistent with the court order, suggestion of counsel, or recommendation of a mediator. During the visit, the monitor acts as an impartial, objective observer of the child's interaction with the parent to insure that the child's welfare is paramount.
In all matters affecting the child's welfare during the visit, the monitor maintains absolute responsibility for the child and the right to end the visit if deemed necessary without regard for the interests of the visiting parent.
If you need a Supervised Visitation service outside of the Sacramento area, you can go to Supervised Visitation Network and click on Service Providers Dir.
