Community Resources

Sacramento like most growing communities has an abundance of agencies to assist families and individuals in crisis or in need. Some of those agencies directly related to parenting are found in our Parenting Education link. However, one of the best resource publications available in the greater Sacramento area is the Community Services Directory available at your local library or for purchase from the Community Services Planning Council. Website: www.communitycouncil.org or by calling 916/447-7063.

The directory has nearly 600 pages of information and indexed references on a variety of services, agencies, day care centers and self-help groups, just to name a few of the nearly one thousand listings.
